I just cant believe. Today I went to see a derm. She looked at my face closely
with a tool like a magnifier and said I misdiagnosed myself. She said rosacea
has 4 components and someone has to have at least 3 of them to be diagnosed
rosacea. But I am almost sure that I have it.
I have permanent redness on my cheeks only and the redness seems to get brighter
as time passes.
I flush due to many things like, anxiety, nervousness, alcohol, hot, cold, wind,
spice and certain foods.
I have very sensitive skin.
I have blepharitis. My eyes feel worse when I flush.
I easily blush when I am stressed.
In past years, redness would come and go but now it exists all the time and the
flushing duration prolonges by time.
I dont have tanglencia, popules or pustules. I am 21. This might be why she said
I didnt have rosacea.(Perhaps she thinks that rosacea appears after 40.) She
also said that lasers does not take away redness but it only clears
tanglencia.(I am not sure how it actually is spelled.) She said I have a
condition associated with neurovascular dilaiton and I have tendency to get
rosacea after the age of 40. How can I be sure if I have it or not right now?
