PD-GAD The Safe Zone list (established Nov.'97) is for those suffering from Panic Disorder and/or Generalized Anxiety Disorder and the often accompanying depression, agoraphobia, anticipatory anxiety, etc... The members of this list provide support and share experiences with various medications, therapies, symptoms, etc..., as well as what has worked for them, or what hasn't. While not written in stone, you will find that the list is generally based on the premise that PD/GAD are biological/chemical and usually hereditary. (The recent announcement of the eight year study that identified the gene that causes PD is available in our files area as is a wealth of information collected by our members on everything to do with PD/GAD, we believe to be informed is good medicine.) It also provides a place to vent, laugh, cry, ask questions, find info-Whatever is needed to help someone. We do have some rules, but only designed to keep the list a safe, peaceful, informative, extremely friendly, private place to be. They are included in your Intro. to The Safe Zone, sent to you upon subscription. You decide if they suit you or not.
